Congrats to Prow for being the lone guy west of Michigan named a finalist for the Hobey. Very deserving player.

Defensemen don't win the award, but being the lone defenseman and lone NCHC player (and only player outside of the Eastern Time Zone) will help... I think he's got a chance to make top 3

Jordan Leopold and Matt Carle just since 2000 (technically since 2002). While the committee generally likes the big point-getters for the award, there have been a few goalies and D-men over the years.

Obviously I don't expect him to win, but being the only defense-man may help him do well. Also, there isn't an Eichel this year so it maybe more wide open.

Prow has a good chance to get to the final 3. I don't think he will win it unless he puts up monster numbers at the end of the season here. You can go ahead and eliminate some players on the top 10 list right away. Goalies RARELY win, so they're out. Petan is a Canadian, so he's out. Lynch plays in the worst conference in the country, so he's out. Michigan's top line will cancel each other out. That leaves Connor, Poturalski, Vesey, and Prow.

I can think of a few reasons why he wouldn't.
Especially with the entire line up for it, hard to separate them out IMO.

Get to watch the Wild disappoint me again tonight and hopefully something better tomorrow night and the rest of the weekend. :)

SCSU needs to play a full 60. (*Note, sorry for the classic cliche). DU is hot and we need to be the tire spikes.

Gameday. Finally. Ran a bunch of scenarios and it looks like one win on either day gets us a #1 seed. That should be enough motivation for them.

Nice haul for Prow and Lindgren. Player of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year and Offensive Defensman for Prow and Goaltender of the Year for Charlie. Very nice.

Prow will be missed next year. Lindgren. Charlie. Buddy. Staying in school is cool...

DU vs SCSU is the game of the day!

Pios have been hot in 2016. Don't expect a repeat of December.

Huskies beat the Pios 4-2! That 3rd period was a nail-biter, but it was a great game overall by both teams. Time to get some revenge on the Bulldogs tomorrow.
