I think most republican legislators knew in November 2016 that Trump was wearing no clothes, but they put on their special garment glasses and went along for the ride. They've had to change the prescription so many times to keep the clothes in focus, they can't see anything else.

I am sure his wife has seen "Angry Brett" before.

Ok so lets say this falls through and he doesnt get confirmed...how long until he goes to rehab in hopes of avoiding any further looking into his record? Then the GOP will switch from "He was not a binge drinking sexual predator" to "he was a young man who had a problem that deserves our sympathy and prayers as he deals with a debilitating illness!"

Has anyone on the Left asked him why he is so upset over this when he was part of the lynch mob trying to take down President Clinton because he got a BJ?

I'd put the odds at a check-in announcement being greater than 50% at this point. He was a trainwreck out there today.

Kamala Harris tried again to get him to ask for an FBI investigation. He refused. Someone has to be directing him not to want one or he knows he's guilty. One or the other.

I also think they thought they could control him. They figured he was a useful idiot who would get them everything they wanted. They didnt think he would be so vocal attacking everyone once he was in office. They didnt realize he was already the useful idiot to someone else...someone who holds way more sway because he knows the truth behind the facade.

Not for the reason that dim bulb thinks. It's because the bettors have realized the GOP has absolutely not a ****ing shred of decency or scruples. It has zero to do with the hearing proving Kavanaugh is credible and the accusers aren't.

Easiest way to clear your name. If you arent guilty then you have nothing to worry about...

Total guess...he fears what else they will find.

I used to love Brit Hume...found him to be quite good doing the news. He, like Chris Wallace, sold out. Though because Wallace knows someone who has dealt with DC D-bag Date Rapists he actually is on the right side of this issue.

Reps not at all interested in Kavanaugh...only interested in hammering Feinstein. He doesn't even need to be here when they "question."

Appears to me the Republicans will go ahead with the committee vote tomorrow and my guess is Flake is the first to cave. Then on Tuesday it will be Collins, Murkowski.
