As opposed to Grassley and Hatch asking the questions? This whole spectacle was designed to get Dr. Ford to bail on actually showing up for the hearing. Once she committed they were in Save A ss mode, and in that scramble this is the best they can come with. In their defense the average age of the men on the GOP side is like 95 so they're probably not very good at thinking on their feet at this point.

The analysis on MSNBC by there two female prosecutor pundits is that the Republicans prosecutor is helping Ford more than the Republicans.
So, here's my take so far on whether or not Kavanaugh did it.
In all the cases of mistaken identity I have ever heard the accuser did not know the accused. Eye witness testimony in those cases are as I understand it fraught with peril.
The key testimony this morning? She knew him before the attack.
