They're not gonna forget, at least the pro-choice women won't and that's a pretty big segment of the voting populace. And as more young people are able to vote and the demographics further shift it'll be a problem for her down the road. If whoever runs against her is even a remotely serious candidate they will bring this up in as many attack ads as possible.

Assuming she's doing that. I can just as easily see some high ranking staffer giving the instruction to give her plausible deniability when she votes to confirm.

I have no idea which way Donnelly will go. He's been taking a very neutral stance on Trump as we get closer to the election. Nearly every FB post that gets made on his page contains comments on Kavanaugh. Probably about 60/40ish in favor of confirming.

I ran into her looking at dog beds at TJ Maxx. I was good and didn’t tell her what I thought about her vote on the tax cuts.

I’d have a little respect for her if she left the party even if she caucuses with them. I can’t respect anyone that still calls themselves a Republican.

Not sure how she isnt a good politician, she has been in office forever. She plays the game pretty well based on that. Whether she is effective is a different story.
All the haters should move to Maine and vote her out.
Be curious as to who all the flatlanders think is going to beat her. The dems have no one right now

Effective? She's highly effective. She lies to her constituents so the massive theft precipitated by the Republicans since 1980 can continue. She loves Roe vs. Wade. Just not for poor people.

She plays the game very well. Everyone talks about her like she's a moderate. In today's Republican Party she is a moderate. In 1970 she'd be considered a radical in that same party.

According to 538, Collins' is among the top 10 senators to the extent she votes to the right against the wishes of her constituency. So at least, she appears to be extremely effective at snowing you guys.

she does just enough to convince the gullible people that she's a moderate and not afraid to go against the party (but she only really does when it doesn't matter)

she's been able to consistently get elected even when most voters are voting D at the top of the ticket

Ain't nobody moving to Maine. No jobs there. ;)

People like D'Amato and Roth were considered unbeatable icons in their respective states with a good pulse on the electorate....until they lost.

The 8th Circuit of Appeals are getting an early start, giving the middle finger to Roe v. Wade knowing by the time it gets to the Supreme Court in 2020 it'll be officially dead.

Wolf in Sheep's clothing. She's almost the worst kind of Republican. I'd rather she be like Mitch or Ryan and stand up and OWN that she's stealing for the rich.

Yeah, I would. She gets false coverage on Cable News all the time because they think she swings. It's annoying. She doesn't swing. Republican orthodoxy is easy to figure out and she's lock step with all of it.

I dont think anyone will beat her. I have said she will win easily multiple times. I just think you are playing the same game you accuse others of doing. (Congress is awful except MY Senator!) She is a fraud and doesnt even really hide it.

Tim Pawlenty was a very nice person and well liked by people who knew him. As a person you rarely heard bad things about him. He is still the worst Governor of MN in my memory and that includes Jesse Ventura. Being nice and friendly is great, that doesnt excuse your decisions while in office. She pretends to be a moderate, yet how often does she vote with the Right? She is just as big of a fraud as everyone else. Just because she said hello to you once at the General Store doesnt change that.

Agreed. At least with Mitch you know what you are getting. She is a full on fraud and gives you a hug while stabbing you in the back.
