I'm impressed with the job Solly did on the pre-game interview with Coach Gosek. I know Solly took a lot of crap on this board last season, but he asked all the questions that needed to be asked (why certain players sat against RMC and who is the starting goaltender). Looks like the team will be at near-full strength for tonight. Selleck sat against RMC for an off-ice issue, Fox had a minor injury. Both in the lineup tonight. Looks like Beckwith will start in net.

Some of my observations from the CC.

- Oswego has been the much more physical team so far. Something I really didn't expect with a lot of new faces and the size they're giving up to Elmira. Also, Elmira has seemed to be the more aggressive and physical team the past few years in these games.

- The Lakers have also switched up their offensive style. They are carrying the puck into the zone and getting far more odd-man rushes than I can remember. Much less dump and chase this season it seems.

- Beckwith was giving up a good number of rebounds in the first, but settled down a lot in the 2nd. Both goaltenders have bailed their teams out a handful of times and made some good plays. The post has bailed Tuttle out a couple of times too.

That's all I got. Looking forward to a great 3rd period.

No one is playing defense in this game. Everybody has plenty of room to skate.

UWRF 3 CUW 0 end 1st. The red falcons are controlling the game but the blue falcons have had some looks. Cuw is much improved from when i saw them last, despite trailing.

Buddies of mine at the Buff st vs. Hobart game say mostly sloppy and some good saves on the few decent opportunities have the game 1 - 1 in the 3rd 10 mins left.
