Call em Ice Knaves.

Wow did we open a can on genny in the third!

Best part was my daughter joining in on the Its all your fault chants!

Re: Scores of 2/19/11--A Senior Moment

Morrisville is apparently gooning it up now. Morello is suspended for the playoff game Wednesday against the Cardinals.

Re: Scores of 2/19/11--A Senior Moment

I assume Manley didn't play for Geneseo tonight. (?) He appeared to injure his shoulder again badly last night in his first shift against Cortland.

Re: Scores of 2/19/11--A Senior Moment

Morrisville ties it at 5 on a 5x5 pp....Mustangs on the PP for nearly the remainder of regulation.

No...they scored on a 5x4...no PP the rest of the way...these announcers sorely need to get it together.

Re: Scores of 2/19/11--A Senior Moment

Ouch! I do recall Redlick coming off the ice at one point against Cortland after being down for a time. He was clearly hurting.

There goes 2/3s of Geneseo's top offensive line! (edit: 20 goals and 33 assists)

No Manley, no Redlick tonight.

Skidmore @ Williams recap:

Skidmore came out and gave Williams very little free ice, and for good reason, the three times that Williams had free ice to skate in, they scored their 3 goals in the first period.
While it was 1-0 Williams, they got a PP. Purdy made the first of 3 important and huge saves. Williams skated down the ice on a 2 on 2(I believe) and they made a nice pass and buried the puck in the net.
Skidmore got one back on the PP, which made 5 straight PPs that Williams gave up a goal on the weekend.
Purdy has one more important save in the period, and Williams added another goal to make it 3-1. Skidmore got another PP chance with a minute left in the first ,and Williams finally killed a penalty.(They better address this for the playoffs)
The second period was pretty similar to the first. Williams did get a little more ice to skate, but not much as Skidmore did keep the pressure on. Purdy made one more impressive save and Williams added two more goals on nice passes when they did have open ice.
Two more goals for Williams in the 3rd period, when they had a bit more control of the game ice wise.
In all, Skidmore did their best to keep Williams from having free ice, but they couldn't do it all game, and Williams took advantage of just about every time they did have free ice. Also Skidmore really did not control the puck much in the offensive zone.

I should ask this...if Morrisville/Fredonia ties, then I believe Plattsburgh and Morrisville would finish with 18 points. Who owns the tiebreaker?
