It is an expense and not an investment, and that's a tough sell.

Let's say a miracle happens and they get the money. How exactly does UAH compete long-term? Results in recent years have been dreadful and they don't have a conference.

Stupid. As I've said before:

This is how they screwed the program beyond repair last time. "Drop" hockey, then un-drop it. The damage done in lost commitments and lost respect for recruiting takes YEARS to recover from. And they still haven't recovered from "dropping" hockey last time. What kid in their right mind would commit to a school that has dropped hockey TWICE? Just let it go. UAH clearly doesn't want it.

Whats going to be different this time?

New administration, it happens. They've had competitive years just like any college hockey team.

Big jump since last night up to $380K
