Saturdays Games, Grumbles and Gotchas 1/9/10

Burgh at Elmira

Burgh at Elmira

Great game, up and down the ice. Both teams play tight defense. Through my purple tinted glasses, I though EC had a couple more quality chances, but all-in-all another typical clean, well-defensed, fast, hard fought, well played, well officiated P'burgh / Elmira contest.

Cards goalie turned a few routine saves into adventures, but came up big more than a few times. Tuttle was stellar. Clewlow's line was clearly the best on the ice tonight.

Elmira has really improved now that they are back to pretty much full strength. That pace of that game was just great...flow up and down great plays on both sides....

Coach said Plattsburgh didnt get any new players this semester, but I want to know who that kid was in Leis's jersey....his glove is still questionable. I can't even count how many times that freakn puck bounced out of his glove. The defense was amazing once again. Elmira really neutralized Plattsburghs speed.

Deffently putting Elmira as one of the top 4 teams in the east for sure now.
