Saturday Nov. 6 scores... because no one else started the thread

Re: Saturday Nov. 6 scores... because no one else started the thread

No way. I can think of lots more. Clearly you weren't there for the NCAA Championship game in Lake Placid last year. This was an exciting game, but nowhere near the best.

Someone a little fiesty tonight? He said best game he's seen in a long time, possibly ever. Easy killer, we've all seen different games.

However, about shutting anyone up. Close is only good in Horse shoes and Hand Grenades. Good ship Platty seems to be taking on water. The Karma was better last year when they won the close ones.

Wish I saw it...thanks all for the OZ-Platty updates.

To WTOP- pleeeeeeease make a highlight reel.

Who would have thought Platty would be 2 games out at any point, much less by after 2 weeks?

LET'S GO LAKERS!!!

Re: Saturday Nov. 6 scores... because no one else started the thread

From a disinterested fan, this was an excellent game. I watched the WTOP web coverage and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the announcers. But what I really liked was the four camera coverage of the ice. Whoever the camera director was deserves a lot of credit. The segues from one camera to the other was great and they followed the puck very well....Well down WTOP!

Agreed completely. The direction on all of the Oswego webcasts I've watched has been excellent. Disappointing outcome, but another very entertaining game regardless. Plattsburgh's aggression on the power play was encouraging, and Oswego once again proved deadly on the opportunities they were given. There are zero chances to take a shift off against the Lakers.

I really thought Plattsburgh defense was going to be a major strength coming into this season. Boy was I wrong. You keep leaving players wide open infront of your own net, your gonna pay. Hopefully the Cards can get Kavanagh back soon.

Re: Saturday Nov. 6 scores... because no one else started the thread

Don't get me wrong, plattsburgh played extremely well. Oswego had the first period hands down, platty played really well starting in the second. Third was half and half, oswego was just a little more powerful in both their offense and goal tending. I wouldn't be that upset if I were a platty fan, they played really well.

Re: Saturday Nov. 6 scores... because no one else started the thread

Well, doesn't that mean you still saw it? :p

Still that doesn't change the fact that people take different things from a hockey game. Honestly, the game I watched tonight was thrilling, but certainly not even in the Top 5 or maybe Top 10 of games I've seen before.

I agree. But then the defense gave the game away on a silver platter, in somewhat of a recurring pattern so far this season. If this keeps up, we're going to stay .500 all year. And if that happens, you can kiss an NCAA tournament appearance goodbye.

It seemed that the defense was more preoccupied with watching the puck than watching the men getting free in the slot.
