Geneseo scores early in the third period on the power play to take a 4-1 lead over Potsdam.

I don't know who in town is listening, it appears that most of the NC is down @ LP watching SLU - Clarkson. (1-1 2nd period) for those who care.

7-3 Plattsburgh... Clarke adds one followed by Cody with less than 1 minute to play.


And that's the game. Plattsburgh puts up more than 50 shots tonight.

At one point during the 2nd period it was 3-2 Plattsburgh.

Phew! Awesome to see us put up a W tonight after the lackluster performance last night in Geneseo.

That will make the bus ride back a bit more pleasant...looking forward to a couple of great games in Oswego next weekend!

Emery certainly had to let them hear it after last night...good show for Platty, a nice win. Looking forward to next weeks early season "whiteout" game...it can not snow...or can it??

d palyed great, kept the shots to the side, made few bad passes, and broke the forwards out well.....also banged the hell out of a bigger team, then skated them down

Cortland holds off late Buffalo rally, 4-3. 6 goals on the powerplay. No Petriello in Buff State lineup.

I saw Lawrence play @ Point last Sat nite. Point did not play well, but had a back up goalie in action and several of their regulars on the sidelines.
This weekend's match ups vs CSS is a better indication of what to expect from the Pointers.
They dominated CSS on Friday nite and have a one goal advantage at this point tonite. A sweep would position them very well for the first half of the conference schedule.
To me, the key, with Point is to cut down on their trips to the sin bin.
