Saturday 1/29/11 - a new Leis on my BMW? Oh Claire, there's a Knight at the door!

Re: Saturday 1/29/11 - a new Leis on my BMW? Oh Claire, there's a Knight at the door

What a sweet feeling to celebrate in Plattsburgh's barn! Love seeing the little ones cry like we just kicked their puppy.

I was going to wait until I had calmed down to write but your comment real sucks! We should of kicked your butts in the second when we were all over you. And, you may be good but I can honestly say, we've played better. See you later!! GO CARDS!!!!!

waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa what game did ya watch, the birds scored all their goals on the PP.........

3 goals on the powerplay has nothing to do with the refs handing them the game. Now, I wouldn't go as far as to say the refs handed them the game; who knows what would have happened if it was a 2 min. pp and not a 5 min. But, those three penalties Oswego took that led to the Plattsburgh goals were good calls. Refs actually missed a couple. Tough game, though, gotta give props to the Birds for taking it to the #1 team in the country (again).

Birds, sorry about that. I got all hyped up. It doesn't feel good to lose at your own barn to your hated rival. I as a Laker fan have felt it many times when you'd come to Romney to and beat us. Sorry about that.

When you spend $120 a year and you invest so much of your time into the program...you would expect better. I don't care what plays out in the future, they'll figure out a way to blow it.

Here is a thought. Stop your whining and shut up. Don't buy season tickets next season and don't follow the team anymore. No one would notice you gone except for those of us here who would no longer have to scroll through this garbage. No one forced you to buy season tickets and there are plenty of people waiting to buy them from you. I think I can speak for everyone here when I say we are sick of your (and some others, specifically tacorob) crying about how horrible this team is everytime they don't play a perfect 60 minutes. It's hockey. Life goes on, although apparently not for you.

Also, you invest your time into the program? What exactly do you do to contribute to the team? Are you a trainer? Goalie coach? Skate sharpener? I don't see how you would have time to post your laundry list of complaints after every loss if you were a part of the team.

For the love of all things hockey, please quit your *****ing. Losses happen. Deal with it. 90% of D3 would love to be in our position right now. It could be worse, a lot worse.

And before you get all sensitive, this isn't just directed at you. It's to the handful of Plattsburgh "fans" and I use that term losely, who behave in the same manner as the quoted post. It's disgusting and is the reason that Plattsburgh fans have the stereotype that they do.

after OT, SNC and Eau Claire end with a tie at three each

Somewhere along the line some people forgot they don't play on the team, they don't coach on the team. Also, this is Division III, NOT the NHL, NOT Div I. Go back to school or your job on Monday, and next weekend, go to the rink and cheer for them again. Also, remember, this is the SUNYAC. You really just need enough wins to get into the little dance, and then everyone has a clean slate.

Final from Potsdam:

Cortland 7 Potsdam 6 OT......P'dam lead 4-1 after the 1st.........SIGH

Re: Saturday 1/29/11 - a new Leis on my BMW? Oh Claire, there's a Knight at the door

SNC now has a five pt lead over Superior, we play Sup at Cornerstone next Friday, if SNC wins, we clinch the NCHA...........

Re: Saturday 1/29/11 - a new Leis on my BMW? Oh Claire, there's a Knight at the door

When is the last time or has it ever happened, that Oswego and Cortland traveled up north together and both came home with 2 wins?

Re: Saturday 1/29/11 - a new Leis on my BMW? Oh Claire, there's a Knight at the door

Rennell, you wonder why no one respects you?

How do I contribute to the program? My money goes into Emery and Delventhal's pocket you idiot. Me and 1,199 other season ticket holders would expect to see a little better than 13-6-1.

I'm not whining either. Plattsburgh showed great effort tonight, (unlike last night) but a bad bounce and a questionable call ended any chance of pulling off a win.

No excuses dropping two on the weekend. I'll be there Tuesday night regardless, but I don't think they deserve an at-large bid at the moment.

No, I don't actually. Please oh please enlighten me who that may be. Heck, the rep I have flowing in for my response to you says otherwise.

Let's try again. You said you "invest so much of your time into the program". Money does not equal time. How exactly do you invest time into the program?

PS: The money does not go into their pocket. It is used to fund the hockey team yes, but a majority of it helps to fund every other sport at the college.

I'm not whining either.

Yes you are.

Plattsburgh showed great effort tonight, (unlike last night) but a bad bounce and a questionable call ended any chance of pulling off a win.

Then what is the issue? You said you "expect better" for all the money and "time" (still looking for an answer on that one) you invest in the program. If their effort was great what more can you expect. If they tried their hardest you can't expect or even ask for more than that. Period.

Re: Saturday 1/29/11 - a new Leis on my BMW? Oh Claire, there's a Knight at the door

I got to agree with Matt here: your $120 bucks wouldn't even by one stick for one kid on that team...My team is 4-11-3 and you don't here me whining about losing two games in a row...Get over it: the kids gave 100% and that's all you can ask for...That's all I ask form the team I "cheer" for....If you live and dwell in the negative, that's all that will come your way: quote to live for...

So what you're saying is that every fan out there, of any team who buys season tickets, should ask for their money back if their team doesn't play up to expectations. Or maybe if they don't win a title. Heck, maybe they should get their money back for every home game they lose. Maybe you should get some boosters to buy some D I players so you can't be disappointed in your D III program. Then they could be justified in charging you that kind of money. Get a life. Enjoy the game, cheer on your team. Get a handle on real life. Put that contribution into a better cause that won't tick you off every weekend.
