What a sweet feeling to celebrate in Plattsburgh's barn! Love seeing the little ones cry like we just kicked their puppy.

I stayed up until 3:15 in the morning to watch the referees absolutely hand Oswego the game? Great. Night well spent...

all of the birds goals were on the PP.........discuss...ting..........nice job Lakers they find away to win it.........but they MUST stay put of the box, as for the 5min penalty should have been a 2........the call on Oz was a makeup call at the end of the game it looked like

I'm not going to lie, I was in a lofted bed when Oswego took the lead, threw my hands up in the air... and punched the ceiling. Hard. Fractured a knuckle. So now my celebratory drinking tonight will also be to dull the pain.

Helluva game from both sides. One of the most exciting Oz/Platty games I've ever heard.

So you really are in Spain! Have no fear, there probably be one more meeting between the two of us somewhere in March I have no doubt about that.

Not yet...although I somehow don't see Oswego losing every game the rest of the way with Geneseo winning every game the rest of the way...they need one more win or a Geneseo loss to clinch it.

The longest unbeaten streak in D-III hockey comes to an end at 15 games (10-0-5), as Plymouth State falls to Fitchburg State 4-1.

Bobby Leiser made 30 saves for the Falcons, and Chris Riggs scores two goals (including an empty netter to ice it). Plymouth took too many penalties to keep themselves in it, as Fitchburg controlled play for most of the third.

Fitchburg State improves to 13-4-1 (7-3-1 MASCAC), and will play UMass Dartmouth in New Bedford on Thursday. Plymouth State falls to 11-2-5 (6-2-3 MASCAC), and will travel to Westfield to take on the Owls on Thursday.

At 13 games (13-0-0), Castleton now has the longest unbeaten streak in D-III.

Oops, you are right, Stormy. I forgot Genny has a game in hand. Morrisville technically is still alive for it, too - they have 6 left. But you are right, highly unlikely either team runs the table and even more unlikely Oswego takes a massive dive the last 4 games.

I feel like throwing in the towel. I really do. Plattsburgh always seems to find a way to lose...

Call me a sore loser or a poor fan, but when you lose three kids off a 19-6-4 team who lost in the National Semi-Finals last years...no excuses. People will continue to praise Leis, but he is inconsistent as all hell. He reminds me of Craig Neilson.

Wow. I was almost ready to give up on the Cards; last night maybe I did. But they have fight and they proved me wrong. And but for a lousy call we were right there. The Cards and I can only hope for a SUNYAC Final.

When you spend $120 a year and you invest so much of your time into the program...you would expect better. I don't care what plays out in the future, they'll figure out a way to blow it.
