Salve Regina to NEHC in 2024-2025

Indeed. It's been known for a while, but finally announced today. The best (IMO) conference in D3 hockey gets even tougher...

In the article it says

"The conference currently sits at 11 members in both the men's and women's divisions."

AM I missing Something

Could really be a negative. 22 conference games out of 25 reg season gameS?? Could hurt SOS more than help it.

I think if 12 teams were to happen, divisions would happen. 2 divisions of 6. Play your division twice for 10. Everyone else on other side once for 16 and maybe 2 others from other side twice?

Don’t see any way Endicott leaves the CCC full time for a part-time hockey conference.

Utica is chasing the D1 dreams.

Nazareth or Manhattanville maybe?

Wasn't Manhattanville close once? No point in taking Utica, given their lack of commitment to any division at this point.

Manhattanville wanted the men’s and women’s teams in the same league 5-6 years ago or whatever year UCHC formed. They made a decision to bring the women over to UCHC instead of men to NEHC.

Manhattanville could be a nice travel partner fit with Albertus….

would increasing schedule from 25 games maybe to28 would be possible-there is quite bit of downtime during the holidays
