These still need final approval from the NCAA’s Playing Rules Oversight Panel, which meets in July.

I'm promoting this thread again, but in all honesty the latest update is... that there is no update. I haven't been able to find any information online that says if the Playing Rules Oversight Panel met and/or had their conference call to ratify the changes made by the Ice Hockey Rules Committee.

EDIT: And the list of committee meetings on NCAA.org hasn't been updated since May, only listing May and June meetings.

UPDATE: USCHO has announced via Twitter that the Playing Rules Oversight Panel has signed off on the rule changes. USCHO's Facebook page (www.facebook.com/OfficialUSCHO) has a poll asking which rule change will make the biggest impact on the upcoming season.
