They had a glowing puck for tv only, dummy. I'm talking a real life glowing puck, and the arena is completely dark.

Well the NHL may possibly make the nets larger. Should college hockey follow?

Soccer goals. In exchange for the larger goals, players could only score by kicking it in or deflecting it in with their heads.

They also need to fix the rinks in order to make it possible to take corners.

That reminds me of an old Buzz Beamer cartoon I saw in SI for Kids when I was young:

Convert the rink to a half-pipe. The goalies have to have one arm on a post, or they fall to the middle.

Allow the puck to be kicked in. The current rule is archaic and unenforceable.
