RPI @ Yale, Saturday, 1/30/16

Re: RPI @ Yale, Saturday, 1/30/16

On the bright side we haven't skated hard enough to merit a penalty.
We have not earned anything. This is as boring a game played by us since early in the season. if this is not us, then Yale deserves a boatload of credit. We just cnnot get anything going anywhere on the ice.

Re: RPI @ Yale, Saturday, 1/30/16

Do we have another third period comeback in us?
We should have a lot left in the tank. We certainly have not looked like we used up anything yet. One line seems to be skating and the defense has made enough mistakes for this one to much worse. Lyons has not been spectacular, in fact he looks out of sorts once he is forced from the crease. But he can hang a very comfortable goose egg on us tonight.

So boring I'd rather do logic puzzles.

Not really. We can't catch St. Cloud, and Minn. St. is already behind us. SLU beating Cornell, Bemidji beating Minnesota, and Miami beating Denver would help alot, as would a loss by UML and Omaha. Also, Union needs to keep winning.

Not much good news to report there other than the Minnesota loss. Cornell leads 1-0 after 2, Denver leads 3-2 in the 2nd, UML leads 5-1 and Omaha is up 2-0 in the first. Union and Brown are 2-2 after two.

Re: RPI @ Yale, Saturday, 1/30/16

Tom seems to disagree with that.
The earlier games were fine. Denver is up on Miami, Union is only tied, Cornell is leading and Omaha is Winning. All of those were on his list to root against. I am no sure he saw those numbers yet. Oh, and Dartmouth is leading

Re: RPI @ Yale, Saturday, 1/30/16

All this PWR talk is moot if RPI doesn't win tonight. It'll be an uphill battle.
