Not only that, but they weren’t even particularly hard wrist shots. As poorly as we’ve played we should be ahead or at least tied. Watson has been nowhere near the goalie he was during last season’s stretch run. If we lose this game I’d give serious consideration to playing Cherepak tomorrow.
 
BTW, can someone tell me why Watson was on the wrong side of the net for the first goal. The puck was at the right point and he was late sliding across from the far side. On the second one it looked like he just whiffed.
 
Pearson is an odd dude. During both breaks he came out to the bench alone for several minutes. We need to go high on him because he goes down early.
 
If I see one more of our guys reach for the puck or just poke at it rather than stepping up aggressively I’m going scream.
 
3* fucking pissed! This team sucks plain and simple. 4* red hot!! This team is regressing as the season wears on. 5 more years of this bullshit hockey. Lol we even suck at dump and chase.
 
Watson has been so bad all year, I don't know what happened to the guy from last year but I'd like him back. Start giving Cherepak starts please.

Not that that solves the offense doing nothing all game without 3 of our top 9 but we can't be giving up 3 soft goals in a game

Glad I wasn’t home to listen to what sounds like another disastrous road game. Difficult to win when you only score 1 goal and Watson is giving up weak goals.
Now 0-10 on the road and with Brown beating Union 6-2 tonight it looks like 0-11 unless they can find a way to turn it around in a hurry.

I thought the defense was fine honestly. 3/4 of the goals were total softies. The real problem was offense imo. Generated single digit quality chances and only put one in the net

I agree with your assessment of the offense. But the goalie is part of the defense and when the guys in front of you keep turning the puck over right in front of you it can affect you concentration.
I am not trying to make excuses for the goalie, just stating a fact.
Lets just tell it like it is. This was one really bad game for our Engineers.
