How has this thread not been started yet?

Leaving for New Haven in the not-too-distant future, sounds like it will be a fun drive down from the CD in the snow. Looking forward to another strong game from the Engineers. Hopefully the weather doesn't significantly detract from the usually-strong RPI contingent at the Whale - I know our tickets are in the GA section as the RPI allotment was already sold out a couple weeks ago.

I would have started it but have not been on line all morning. This could be a good chance for us to show that we not only match up well with Brown, but that we also match up nicely against Yale. We need to play the same type of defense but more importantly we need to avoid taking unnecessary penalties. We did well on special teams last night-but I would not like to see them tempt fate tonight. I think 5 on 5 should be our best chance to keep this one close. I also hope we have become a bit healthier than coach SA indicated in his last interview-we will need our legs for all 60 minutes tonight. We just cannot afford a lull or slow period for any length of time against Yale. 50 minutes of tough defensive hockey will just not be enough. We are showing some signs of life but we are certainly not in th eposition to overcome letdowns. We still need to show that we can score more than 1 or 2 goals per game (not counting empty netters). That being said-a good showing tonight will give us plenty to build on for the upsoming homestands. Go Red!!!

Thanks Turk. Not sure the same kind of play from us will work tonight. Yale is a better special teams kind of club. Much beter power play and very decent short handed team. Just hoping we have the legs tonight. If we are as ill as coach has indicated, we may run out of gas in a high tempo game on the second night of the weekend.

For those of you that want your hockey, WRPI will have the women's game liove at 4 from the Field House as the Engineers take on Brown.

I would say there will be a significant amount of no shows due to the weather, should be alot of seats around, I will be in the top row Aisle Nine, black north face if you want to say hello. Name is Dave

Unfortunately, I'm going to be one of them. I was going to drive down, visit a friend, and catch the game, but the forecast for the amount of snow between here (Boston) and there scared me off.

I rate it a 65-it has a decent beat but is hard to dance to. Most on here are too young to remember where that kind of statement came from. It was old TV for sure.
