RPI up 2-0 but Yale seems to be carrying the play now. Will need York to come up big in the third period. No time to go into the preent defense-it just does not work for us.

Yup-I never understood it. If you are doing things right and build a lead, why do you have to change and sit back? Just keep playing the same and make the other team have to take chances.

Perhaps the team ahead is taking chances pushing it up and trying to prevent the possibility of odd-man rushes? You can still push it up, and play a somewhat conservative traditional formation.

Some teams can play a prevent defense-they are just built for it and coached for it (Cornell is a prime example). We are not and have not been for many years.

And the Catholic Church ha never been the same since. :D J/k, given our newfound relationship (to USCHO, not what you are thinking) It'd be wise for me to not bust on Fr. Joe anymore.
