RPI vs. Yale - 1/30/09

Oh ye posters of little faith...

RPI comes off a disappointing loss trying to salvage two points from the weekend, while Yale had to hold on to fend off Union, and is wanting to grab the broomsticks. The last time these two met, RPI capitalized on its opportunities in Black Friday, 5-2. What will happen this time around? Listen forth on WRPI at 7PM ET.

Re: RPI vs. Yale - 1/30/09

Faith has nothing to do with it. These guys can beat any team in the league at any time. Now they have to go out and play for 60 minutes.
Something they did not do last night.
I was at the last Yale game. An RPI win, and I will be there tonight. I can only hope that we play the way we did on Black Friday.

Re: RPI vs. Yale - 1/30/09

EHF's right: we can skate with any team and beat them when we play a full 60 minutes. We beat Yale on Black Friday... we know that... I'm sure Yale remembers, too. ;) We've grown as a team this year and it's time for some bounceback.
GO, RED!

Faith in the team, but no faith in my thread-starting abilities. :(

Re: RPI vs. Yale - 1/30/09

We had one stolen away last night-hope that feeds the anger a bit and we come out ready to attack. We were not outplayed last night we were officiated to death. The calls at the end of the third period were spurious at best-and if you are going to make questionable calls they certainly should not be with 8 seconds left in the third period:mad: The boys have to come out ready tonight-Yale is a quality team that can bury you if you do not play focused. Go red-and no 5 on 3's against please.

Re: RPI vs. Yale - 1/30/09

My guess is that this is going to be a high scoring game.

Assuming he plays tonight, I've got a feeling that Pirri is going to break his goal scoring slump. He was absolutely steaming when he was tossed yesterday. He came back from the locker room and watched the rest of the game from the runway next to the glass. You could see how bad he felt about his play that led to Brown's 3rd goal. We should see some real effort from him.

I know it doesn't, I just found it a little weird that by 7AM, no one had started the thread, almost like no one WANTED to.

Any team can win any game. Let's just play 60 minutes tonight.

I didn't want to after yesterday, but I considered doing it anyway. :)

Re: RPI vs. Yale - 1/30/09

With my recent record, I was certainly not considering starting the thread. Yale doesn't need any help from me.:)

Re: RPI vs. Yale - 1/30/09

The women tied Princeton 1-1. Pricneton scored in the first period and RPI (Dunlop) tied it soon thereafter.
