Second period winds down with PEI leading 2-1. At least we are on the board and still showing some offense.

RPI 2011 defensive recruit Patrick Koudys has scored his first goal as a Burlington Cougar, coached by RPI alum Mark Jooris.

coach is on the radio ...he should just stop talking.this is not about him. right off the bat he has to tell everyone alan is our number one ..right now..of what use is it to get in your young goltenders head in the first preseason game

Third period may tell us a bit more-last year if we were trailing after 2 periods we seemed to be cooked and done. We looked tired most third periods.

the power play look vastly improved (although pei is not pressuring the puck) passing is better, shots are getting through, guys are rotating nicely,

He's the spokesperson for the team. And plus, the players I doubt listen to these interviews.

Alan had a rough go at the start of the season last year, but then picks it up as we go along. I expect to see the same thing.

the players listen, read and discuss everything that is said and written. alan will be as good as his defense permits him to be.
