Nice to have the lead after the second period. However we have given up 30 goals in the third period this year.

We rarely get help from other games. This is a third period that could turn out to be far more important than it would have seemed at first blush. How long will it take for the officials to put us in the box? Will they put us 2 men down for an extended time? Will we get a 5 minute major? Shame we have to think like that but it happens all too often. if I had to bet, I would guess they call Bubela or Wood for a hit that was borderline.

They won't need 3 but I do not think the officials can help themselves by only having us with one more penalty than Union. it is only the matter of do they call it early to get this game even, or do they wait to late to get the game tied with seconds left on the clock.

Not by much. It would help a little bit though. RPI started the night #16, and with a win here they'd end the night in #16. A Colgate win would help get Dartmouth off their backs, though.

I have never been negative about an RPI team, ever. I have seen it all for a long time. i am negative about the officials, the coaching (at times), the other fans, and sometimes our posters. These boys on all our teams have been one of the highlights of my life. Seriously. Jenny and i miss our weekly trips up to HFH and keep trying to get back.

Don't count on that. Dartmouth is a rather tough team
