Although this game doesn't count toward the standings, if we have to face Union in the ECAC playoffs this drubbing will give them a great psychological advantage.

Finally they will be calling a meaningless penalty against union-it will look a tad better on the stat sheet but the game was long since determined. As i had posted way back- a meaningless game for us and only bad things could come from it. Just hoping we have no injuries and no suspensions from this.

I didn't like scheduling this game to begin with, and this is why. It was a no win situation for us. Hopefully this will be the last Mayor's cup game.

We won't if we keep getting out-shot, out-hustled, get more penalties and keep icing the puck incessantly. Did I mention losing face-offs?

Do I hear an echo here? Deep Red, you and I have been singling the same tune for some time now. We were on a very good roll and we were playing very well and beginning to show a little RPI swagger. This game was an unnecessary roadblock and it remains to be seen how much damage it does. On the bright side-we lost no ECAC points tonight and Union gained none.

Wood hit a Union player that went down easily and made himself bleed, so he'll probably get like four games for that, while Union's coach last year got a slap on the wrist for punching an RPI student.
