RPI vs St. Lawrence: Saturday, 11/14/09

Re: RPI vs St. Lawrence: Saturday, 11/14/09

The result doesn't bother me nearly as much as the almost complete control of play by SLU. We were outplayed, outshot and out hustled. I suspect that SA will be tough to live with tonight on the bus ride home.

I believe you're right. And it is a long ride home.

Sorry not to have gotten the CD sweep. We'll just have to get them on the home front.

Just got back from the game, and here's my take:

Regarding the Anthems, they specifically requested us to not make sudden changes in dynamics around when the drums don't play. But of course, there's one dingbat that doesn't listen.

Tonight, we just let them walk all over us. We were outshot in the 2nd 21-3, and if York hadn't committed several acts of highway robbery, the game would have been a blowout.

I would like to see us play with the heart we had during Yale, or the CCT game. Heck, even UNH when we said, "Too bad, you aren't taking this one from us, this is OUR night."

Two points is better than zero. We're now tied with the capital district, though they are undefeated. Still a lot of season left, and 36 more points to be had.
