We were just a so much better team tonight and deserved a better fate. Just not good enough to overcome a weak goal given up as NE's second goal. Played well against a top team and should indicate better things to come.

We weren't expected to win this one. Was expected in my 2-2-0 or 2-1-1 prediction. If we can keep playing like that for the rest of our games, we'll finish out the year strong.

Goalie needs to be able to come out behind the net and stop the puck from going from one side to the other around the boards. Wonder if the winning goal in OT would have been scored if the puck was not allowed to circle from the left side to the right. It's still the little things that matter. But overall, things are looking up.

Not expected by many at all but you said it correctly, we could be a lot tougher team from here on in. Just cannot give up anything weak and make teams earn what they get.

Still only 2 goals against a backup goaltender (one with an extra attacker) is still not a good sign. It’s going to take at least 3 or 4 goals a game if they are going to be competitive.
