The USCHO Fan Forum has migrated to a new plaform, xenForo. Most of the function of the forum should work in familiar ways.
Please note that you can switch between light and dark modes by clicking on the gear icon in the upper right of the main menu bar.
We are hoping that this new platform will prove to be faster and more reliable. Please feel free to explore its features.
There are good ties and bad ties. This has to be the first time for me it was both. We had this one cold-missed a clear out t of the crease and they tied it with 9 seconds left. In OT we killed off a full 2 minute penalty and then had scoring chances of our won. They get a penalty and with 24 seconds left a short handed breakaway. Thank the lord for Kazzie. We get out of Connecticut with a tie. Bad losing that third period lead but good to save a point with spectacular goaltending.I will take it and try to get to sleep tonight but I think that last breakaway will be in my mind all night.
Quinnipiac is a very good team, and we gave them all they could handle.
It would have been very easy to accept a tie if they didn't score so late in the game.
Still a point in this building has to be a confidence builder.
