RPI visits Q! Thursday, January 21st

No games being played, or is just because you are on the edge of your seat? I like the way this game is going, so far, but the QU announcers figure the penalty box should see more action.

They must know about our awesome power play... 🙄

Re: RPI visits Q! Thursday, January 21st

Period ends 0-0
Good period for RPI, as long as we can keep it 0--0 it favors us.
Kasdorf and the defense has kept us in it and we had a couple of good scoring chances.
Q is very good, especially quick in transition.
Did a memo go out to the ECAC referees telling them not to call any penalties? Once again, very consistent calling the game.

Exciting first period and a fortunate one also. Often a team comes out a step faster but QU came out 2 steps faster. The first 5 minutes it appeared like it was only a matter of time. But our boys found some of their legs and made this a far more even first period. The crossbar and post deserve a big thank you. The QU forecheck is just right in on us and they have certainly sealed off the boards as a method of clearing out of our zone, stopping everything. We just have to happy with a scoreless period and hope we can find a little extra for the remainder of the game. #24 had a tough period and gave up a couple of bad turnovers leading to close shots and extended play in our zone. He has got to get the puck out further and faster tonight.

Glad they kept the whistles in their pockets. We would most certainly been called for more than they would. Just want the officials to be consistent and call nothing next period also

The Q are still 4 posts behind the 6 that the NY Rangers hit Tuesday night.

Re: RPI visits Q! Thursday, January 21st

Only 7 blocked shots for us that first period, 5 for Quinnipiac. With 29 "shot attempts" and 13 official shots (evidently SAS thinks this is soccer now :p), need to defend a lot better.

If offered I would take the 0-0 tie right now. Oh wait this isn't chess where you can offer a draw.

Anyone know how to make this feed full screen on an iPad, Maybe the direct YouTube link? Can't get rid of the stupid stat meter.

It's not a Youtube feed, but there is a full screen button; just not sure how you'd activate it since a tablet doesn't have a mouseover.
