With about two minutes left to go in the period, the announcers were complaining that things were getting boring.

Hey, when RPI is ahead by two goals, as far as I'm concerned, boring is beautiful. :)

Outshot in the second but played a pretty solid 20 minutes. 2 goals and a solid crossbar. The only ominous sign was a cou0ple of scrums in front of Kasdorf where it seemed Union had too many chances and should have scored something but did not. Have to keep the pressure on and change nothing for at least the first 1/2 of the last period but really need to come out sharp to kill off the penalty. I do not have the faceoff numbers but even some of the ones we are credited with, we gave up the puck immediately. hope this does not come back to haunt us as this one is not in the bag by any means.

I would settle right now for a very boring 20 minutes. No penalties, no whistles, and no scoring.

I think that ECAC Hockey has hired Ed Weaver. :D
