One friend of mine and I figure that if Union doesn't win at Starr this year, they never will...ever. :o

Union doesn't have a great road record, despite the OT win in Mariucci. I'm hoping Nate has something up his sleeve to trick the players into thinking they're actually playing in Schenectady.

They can be very disruptive to any team that is not careful or is prone to coughing up the puck. On the road they are not the same team. it must be somethng about Baker Rink but they try to get the jump on you and they do not let up. I would not be surprised to see them get 40 shots on goal at any time-at home. I do not think they are as good as they were a couple of years ago-but they seem very young and might improve as the season unfolds.

When they play at Baker Rink, they're so much faster because they're tring to keep warm ;)

I didn't realise it's been so long since RPI won at Starr. Bring back Adessa and Coles ...heeheee!

I was at the Cornell-Princeton game last week, and my impression is this: Cornell plays like a young team. They will succomb to opposition pressure and make mistakes in their own end. If a team forechecks them hard, like Princeton did in the first period, the Red will not do well. If a team lies back and plays defensive rope-a-dope, like Princeton did in the second and most of the third, they'll keep Cornell in the game. In a low scoring game like that, anything can happen.

Can anyone confirm/deny whether TW3 is showing tonights game? Don't have a real good feeling that we will receive the feed but anyone with knowledge of this please reply. Thanks in advance.

Ken Schott confirms indirectly in his pick the winners blog where he shows the game on TW. I've got to say that checking on their programming is a bit unfathomable.
