It has historically been very intimidating for RPI.
Except in March.

I am concerned about Tironese.
I guess we are going to have to wait for the lineups to be posted to find out if Tironese plays or not.
Sadly yes. None of the supposed beat reporters to date have had enough gumption to ask Appert either a) what he thought of the hit and/or b) the status of Tironese's health. Seth had a lengthy chat on the ice with St.Lawrence after the Sat night game....seems like a most basic question that should have been asked...when the league's POM gets drilled into the boards from behind...with no call. Silly me.

. Given that logic, reporters can just stay home and regurgitate press releases as stories (many do). Their job is to ask questions and invoke responses , gain info the reader wouldn't otherwise know. Journalism 101. You ask the question even if you know or think you know what the answer will be be. As far as coaches go, they can respond without incrimination...Bennett did it a few weeks ago in a presser when he said (paraphrasing) --" Regarding the officiating , I'm not gonna go there." That is an artful way to answer the question without answering the question.I'm not sure it's gumption so much as it is the answer they know they're going to get, and/or any resulting backlash. League rules prohibit giving comments on specific calls/non-calls (not sure if they made an amendment to extend it to showing video of the play after the 2010 débâcle), and after writers have been chastised about these sorts of questions by readers, sometimes so far as to blaming them for the coach being suspended, they're not asking the question because they know what the answer's going to be. With the health of Tironese, once again, in the media-speak of today, you know what the answer is going to be. They'll evaluate it, or if they've already done that, give a broad area of the body. So it almost seems like asking the question is a waste of time, because you're not going to learn much of anything new.

I tend to agree. Ditto for Milos, after seeing him post game on Saturday night - I don't expect to see him dressed. Hope I'm wrongI doubt that he will play this weekend. The question to me is more of a long term nature.

So the League suspends the player.....what about the on ice officials? To have a suspension when there was no call on the ice just validates what most think of the ECAC officials.Looks like the league actually took Appert's suggestion for once, and looked at the targeted hit on Kasdorf. http://www.ecachockey.com/men/members/clarkson/20150711_DiNallo_Suspension

Exactly. Especially with 2 of them out there, and it was a play that one would think both of them were looking at as the play was over.

In any event, I guess we're all good with the hit. I was across the ice from it and thought it was a penalty. God knows if a red hat had made that hit , the arm would've gone up. Anyone's guess as to when we next see the POM on the ice.
