I wonder how many RPI and Union players won't be making the trip to the NC.

Based on tweets and other posts, Zalewski will be out Friday, Curadi will be out the whole weekend (I say the whole weekend because NCAA rules stipulate that multiple Game DQs in your college career add games to your suspension time), and for Union, Bodie and Lichtenwald will be out at least for Friday; I do not know their status regarding previous Game DQs.

I don't know. CHS took down the box score in order to add penalties. If nothing is shown there, I'm sure it will be announced by the league. Watching these post-game press conferences is going to be FUN.

They just showed a portion of them on YNN. Bennett apologized to Appert, the players, and the RPI fans for his conduct. Seth in his conference just said that he still has respect for coach Bennett and that emotions just got way out of hand. Bennett should get at least a couple of games off. Seth did absolutely nothing wrong and shouldn't be punished for what happened.

Well.........potential suspensions aside.......Appleton will offer little resistance and bountiful opportunities for you both to pad your stats. We flat out suck.

If we had lost tonight, we could have had an interesting argument about who sucks more.

Even if you lost there would have been no argument. This season has turned into a nightmare on our end and I honestly don't think we have a chance of turning it around. I expect us to get swept this weekend at home and run our record at Appleton to 3-9 and drop to the basement. I guess at this point, the only good thing is, they can't disappoint much more than they already have :(

Prior to this past weekend, you could have said the same thing about us.

It's crazy, you guys looked pretty good when you tied Yale at the start of the ECAC schedule. What the hell happened?

We have no defense and our goaltending is awful!!! The combination of the two would make any team downward spiral in a hurry. It's a shame too because we have a boat load of offensive talent on this team and there is not too much they can do about the other end of the ice being non-existent.

What the others have said, as well as a heavy dose of not killing penalties and not knowing how to stay out of the box. Those 3 factors are pretty much a recipe for disaster. SLU will get outscored 9-4 for the weekend, if not worse.

The only thing that is for sure is that the travel per diems for both RPI and Union will be a little less than last year...Here's hoping for boring handshakes after the games...

Both teams have more players on their rosters than they are allowed to take on road trips so nothing will be saved there. OTOH, Bennett and perhaps one or two RPI AC's could indeed be suspended, so you could be right.

Bennett does need to be sent on a little vacation after that display. Wow.

And you guys will both kill us.

Reno or Hampton in for Curadi and either Fulton or Bourbonnais in for Zalewski next friday night? Seems to be the only options left on the roster depending on how much other discipline comes from last night.

Union will not provide transportation to Rick Bennett for the trip. That doesn't mean he can't go on his own and "sit behind the bench".
