From seeing TWC this year, looks like UC's been wearing their black/dark brown(?) uniforms at home this season. `I seem to recall that Raph had something on line on how UC and Harvard both wanted to use crimson... they played a game and H won.
Now for tonight... We didn't play a full 60, and we made sure they didn't either. it's going to be a good contest... let's play our game and take this one. See you tonight and Sunday night.
PS - The crowd at Kate O'Byrne's was ok but it was more into the Jersey Boys at Proctor's than the doings on the ice.

Expect the boys to play with heart and soul. Make this the hardest effing game of the season for Union and show them that they will have to fight for everything they get in order to eliminate us. Cannot possibly ask for more. I am not ready for this season to end just yet and I think there are a whole bunch of boys on this team that feel the same way. Go Red!!!

SA has always said that the hardest game is the one to end a team's season.
I believe that we will be very hard to beat tonight.
But win or lose, next year is going to be very exciting.
I don't know how they did it, but the Engineers have turned a season of despair into a season of great hope. I feel very good about this team. I believe that they are going to take me places that I have not been before.

Tough call on this-in one sense i would also make no changes-I felt the last 40 minutes of yesterday's game we held our own and came close to putting one in a few times. And going with the same exact personnel makes sense. But on the other hand-I would also want fresh legs wherever i could put them-especially on defense. I would hate to find that we get outskated simply because our legs are a bit more tired. (if we make a mistake at forward it might not cost us as much as one made on defense). Have to treat this game as it should be-as if there is no tomorrow (and then hope there is a tomorrow). This is why I should never be a coach-and certainly do not envy the job SA has to do. As time goes on I realize that my father was right-I should just stay in medicine where I actually know what I am doing most of the time.

So true-this was a very frustrating season. But a lot of that has fallen by the wayside as this team has started to show some potential. We are losing some boys to graduation who I wish could stay longer but we are getting some new recruits who should be nice additions. But the most exciting part is that the group we have now as freshmen, sophomores and juniors will have this year of experience and growth and will be back next year ready to do so much more. I remain the eternal RPI optimist however and still feel we may have some more hockey this year. Make this the toughest game for Union this year-Go Red!

There are times i can watch and listen to WRPI without getting confused. But other times the delay makes it very difficult. I tend to watch about half of the televised games and listen to WRPI at the same time.
