RPI@Union 11/1/14

Re: RPI@Union 11/1/14

RPI's special teams results for the weekend: 1 for 2 on the power play, 10 for 11 on the penalty kill (with the one failure being followed by an RPI even-strength goal 7 seconds later).

Couldn't have asked for better.

Heck, I'll break open a beer!
After a sweep weekend of the number two team in the nation all you can open is a beer? If I was a Scotch sort of guy(and I am not) this would be Johnny Walker Blue for sure. But as you know Jenny and I are the Vodka guys so tonight we will open Van Gogh Dark Chocolate. A new one for me but Jen says it is magnificent. This was truly a surprise but made immensely larger by the fact that we not only lost 2 to bentley(and no one can confuse them with Union) but we got shut out badly. Incredible turn around performance and something these guys should use for every weekend coming up.

I don't keep liquor in my apartment. Heck, I only got these beers from a buddy that didn't want them a little earlier today. I guess I have to make a quick trip over to Montezuma to get some more white wines, because I don't like reds (surprisingly enough).

You're doing it wrong. Bad loss? Drown your sorrows (and the voices) with some heavy drinking after a loss. Drink some more to celebrate a sweet win.

Were the penalty calls that lopsided this weekend? Guess I got caught up in the flow and hadn't kept tabs... This is one of the best weekends I can remember in awhile.

What a weekend for the Engineers! No one expected this. When I wasn't signed in and following this thread, Flaggy said that the optimist in him.....LOL. Guy doesn't have
an optimistic bone in his body. I still think he isn't happy that RPI beat Union twice. See what happens when you stay positive?
