If we are a healthy team today-RB has a great chance to reach the 100 pts mark. But the possibility exists that we have 6 starters out for this game and although we have one of our deepest teams in a long time, I do not think we are deep enough to cover 6 losses like that easily. GO RED! we could use an OOC win here.

You have probably now seen the post that Neal is back and Schroeder is a maybe. Than again Weaver could be wrong.

Just saw in Ralph-getting Neal back is helpful, knowing Nanne is going to be fine in a week even more so, Schroeder as a maybe is also nice. Here's hoping the defensemen are back soon and that Milos can return quickly as he was just starting to mesh so well on that line. I did not see the entire QU game but it did not appear to me to be that physical that we should have been hurt so badly.

News was not as bad as many feared at first. Tonight we play a little shorthanded against a very up-and-down UConn team. Go, Red, Go!

Re: RPI @ UConn, Tuesday, 10/18/14

This would be a good game to get Diebold some work. He has proven that he is good enough to start. Maybe not as good as Kasdorf, but good enough to beat a team like UCONN.
It will be good to get Neal back, but without Nanne and Bubela, we have our two best offensive lines disrupted.
Another game, another test.

lets go red!!!!!!!!!!!

Definitely two up-and-down teams. It will be truly weird if both are down.

Re: RPI @ UConn, Tuesday, 10/18/14

I've only seen UConn play 1 game (against BC) but they played a solid defensive game and have a good goalie in Nichols. BC controlled the puck for much of the game but didn't do a whole lot with it, lots of shots seemed to come from the outside. UConn's offensive production was pretty lousy in that game with very few good chances. But a few days later they put up 4 against BU so its hard to guess what they will do. I agree that its a good game to get Diebold some ice time as he is certainly good enough to win but no matter who is in net UConn is certainly capable of capitalizing if we come out flat.

Re: RPI @ UConn, Tuesday, 10/18/14

Very much looking forward to this game after happy hour with some fellow RPI folks. LGR!

Whoever SA puts on a line with Melanson and Miller just be better able to keep up. Nanne is very fast and that line works very well together and when healthy will be even better. A third forward or any defenseman moving up to join that line better have rockets up his arse or he will be quickly left too far behind.

Travis or Jake W? Problem with JW though are the PIMs but he can definetly keep up.

I stated on air during the Princeton game that I love Bokenfohr as a forward. (Bokenfohr-ward? :D) I feel that he really gives a presence in front of the net that RPI was sorely lacking in years past. If he can park himself in front of the net and stay there while RPI keeps possession, I smell ALOT of goals for his linemates, and a lot of assists for Craig.

I don’t see it on tonight’s line though. Unless the D-men are putting up SOG.

We'll see if this is a permanent move for him, or just one because so many forwards are out. If the latter, then I would use him as a hybrid forward/dman on the power play.

Re: RPI @ UConn, Tuesday, 10/18/14

Hampton had been playing hybrid, but this is a fun idea of a large guy in front. Remember the U-18 game when Luke Curadi played in front of the net during the PP? It might end up working out.

Re: RPI @ UConn, Tuesday, 10/18/14

There is video for tonight on the UConn site. never have used it, does anyone know the quality?
