Now the SLU announcers call this one a shaky call. Its tough when the opposition thinks the penalties are bad

In previous years-almost any 5 on 3 against us meant a goal-so at least we have improved in the defense of those situations

Oddly we seem to be a more focused team when short handed than when at even strength or on the power play.:eek:

Another scoreless period for RPI and at the end of the second period SLU leads 2-0:(

Two periods in the books, and I don't think we have had a reasonable scoring chance. Once again, no time in the offensive zone. It is getting ugly.

The only thing good so far is that Carey has two assists and I chose him in the PtC.

Unfortunately York not having any more success than we are tonight. He has given up 2 goals and made only 3 saves so far as Philly is now up 5-0

And Steve Mason is back in net to start the 2nd. Hey, Chase Polacek is a starter for Peoria tonight against the Milwaukee Admirals...who scratched Jeff Foss, incidentally.
