It just seems it takes us so long to set up on the power play that much of the time goes by before we even get off a shot.

After one period SLU leads RPI 1-0 as we have another scoreless period for the Engineers.

After 8 1/3 games of the season we just have had no one step up and be able to finish for us. We have not found the replacement for what we had the past few years with Chase on the ice. I had hoped the freshman class with give us one player with that ability-unfortunately 2 of the boys are out hurt and we just have to give them time to get back on the ice. But it certainly does not seem like anyone in the sophmore-junior-senior classes can play that role. It is really tough to have to depend on defense and goaltending for 60 minutes every night to pitch a shutout to win. Still early in the season but the offense needs an enema.
