RPI @ SLU - Friday, February 8th

Re: RPI @ SLU - Friday, February 8th

Not sure about anywhere else but we are right now at the snow/rain border of this monster storm. Nothing on the ground yet but winds are 25-35mph. I just hope not to lose power. We are expecting 4-6 inches late tonight but very high wind gusts.
I am well south of it apparently. Since I retired on 1/1/11, I don't think we have ever had more than an inch of snow here.

Re: RPI @ SLU - Friday, February 8th

I keep hearing about those big guns that SLU has. SA made them sound like they were unstoppable and yet, SLU is a .500 team. Somebody is stopping SLU, or SLU is having trouble stopping the opposition.
Sounds like a match up game. You are right about the third line, but I would be happier if SA would switch Lee with Neal. Then he could put that line against the Saints top line and give the top line a little more scoring punch.
Either way, if we play the way we have been, I see another game in the win column for us.
Kasdorf will be the difference.

Having Lee and Tinordi on the same line would also be...interesting, and maybe effective if they could stay out of the penalty box. It would be a line that wouldn't make things easy for the opponent.

Re: RPI @ SLU - Friday, February 8th

That isn't much diferent from normal when the band is there.

Sad, but true. Unlike the first few years that RPI had a D1 women's team recently they have been near the bottom in NCAA attendance.

Re: RPI @ SLU - Friday, February 8th

The women seemed to start strong but a sloppy clearing play by Marzario and Clarkson takes an early 1-0 lead.

~6" of snow here on the North Shore of MA. wind is picking up, no power outages locally. Packies are empty! :D
