I would be satisfied with winning this one first -we watched most of the game last night and RIT could have easily had us down a couple goals in the first 40 minutes. We have a lot of talent on this team, more than I have seen in a very long time, but we must work on the power play. We have to be able to take advantage of the opportunities we get when we have the extra attacker on the ice. Some of this starts with winning a higher percentage of face offs and controlling the puck in the offensive zone immediately there after. This is a good team we have and with a few more adjustments, this could be a very good team. Coach Lang and his crew have done an amazing job in a very short time!! Go Red!!!

Last year we got our 4th win on Nov. 28th.
We are more than a month ahead and yet, we are still in need of a better Power play, better puck possession and better face off execution.
All of which will be addressed. I see good things for the rest of this season.

Lets Go RED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How fast we get to 4 wins has been a function of who is on our OOC schedule. When the schedule was loaded with top teams like last year or some other years, it can be late November or even December. But we have had some softer early season schedules that have allowed us to reach 4 wins very early. obviously would like a win tonight but next weekend will tell us almost all we need to know about where this team stacks up this early in the season. BTW the Union games are being shown on SNY live for Friday and i believe on a tape delay of the Saturday game. That kind of media exposure has to help the program and hopefully will happen more often.

Yes and No Doc. I think the balance is better compared to other years. Ohio st and RIT are good programs. Even LIU is a tough opponent. Next weekend is going to be awesome! Definitely helps the program
