RPI Recruit Thread 2025-2026

On Wednesday, the Calgary Hitmen lost to the Edmonton Oil Kings 5-1. Harrison Lodewyk had a goal and a fighting major penalty with a minor penalty for unsportsmanlike conduct. https://chl.ca/whl/gamecentre/1022881/

Lodewyk's Calgary line is now 48-15-18-33-65.
His total is 53-16-31-37-71.

“The floor is much higher now,” Powers said. “There’s so many players, there’s not enough stalls to fill the demand of how many good players are out there because there’s only 64 teams.”

That is only for NCAA Division I - there is nothing stopping those who cannot reach the stalls of Division I to take the alternate pathway of Division III. Especially now when it may not be necessary to receive a scholarship to afford to go to "school" to play a sport.
