RPI Recruit Thread 2025-2026

On Saturday, the Kamloops Blazers defeated the Vancouver Giants 4-3. Josh Evaschesen had a goal (PPG) and an assist (PPA). 10 SOGs! He was named the #1 Star. Ryan Michael had no points or penalties. https://chl.ca/whl/gamecentre/1022795/

"Hometown" is sometimes where the player was born and sometimes where he or she currently lives.
I am assuming that Neutral Zone regards their Star ratings as public because they often tweet them with committals.

STRENGTHS according to Neutral Zone (NZ rarely includes them for women):
Aw=Awareness/IQ, Ch=Character/Leadership, GS=Goal Scoring Ability, Sk=Skating, Sp=Speed, SH=Stick Handling Skill, 
St-Strength, To=Toughness, Vi=Vision/Passing

RB, What are the thoughts on Hecker ? He's very young of course, but he seems to be outside the recruiting profile of kids Lang has assembled so far. I'm guessing he knows the kid from his regional / Connecticut connections ?? I just haven't heard many thoughts on what to think of him...or what the projections are.

The same thing was suggested when I wondered about him. He is a Waterloo (USHL) draft choice, so if he goes there next year, we will see.
