Wow, those are some solid stats for Sanborn. Understanding the league he is playing in, what do we think his chances are of challenging for the starting job in Troy? (Or did I just answer my own question ? ha ha)

Wow, those are some solid stats for Sanborn. Understanding the league he is playing in, what do we think his chances are of challenging for the starting job in Troy? (Or did I just answer my own question ? ha ha)

He has been doing quite well since he arrived in Trenton (ON, not NJ), but Trenton has a great team. As you can see, he played one game in the NAHL and one in the NCDC before arriving there, and in neither he did well. He also didn't do well last year in the BCHL. He has been better than Trenton's other goalies. This is the best that he has looked since he was in prep school.

I think that he would help RPI, but our new coach, whoever he will be, will decide.

BTW, although he made 57 saves on 61 shots in almost 5 periods, he gave up 2 of the 4 goals which he gave up in the last 2 minutes of regulation sending the game to OT.

I didn’t expect Ryan Dwyer to be eligible for Baie-Comeau in the playoffs, but he played. They play again today. Victoriaville (Chemrouk) did not make the playoffs. It will be good if the two of them play in the Q before coming to RPI assuming that our new coach likes them.
