It just doesn’t make sense to me about Babich. He committed to RPI 5 years ago and was known to have signed a NLI plus was apparently in the RPI directory.

I don't know, but my gut feeling is that RPI changed his mind. We'll find out who was responsible if he goes somewhere else. If it is to a better team, it was him. If it is to a worse one or D-III, it was us.

Maybe he will follow Max Itagaki, who also played for Chicago Mission, to West Point.

Babich looks to me like a 4th line grinder who has limited offensive skill. He’s high energy forecheck player but we have a roster full of grinders we need more skill. Ralph I’ve seen itagaki play a few times at West Point he’s very good. We really missed out on him. He was Atlantic hockey rookie of the year last year. He’s an excellent set up man. My gut tells me babich ends up d-3 or maybe Atlantic hockey.
