On Sunday, the West Kelowna Warriors lost to the Wenatchee Wild 5-4 in overtime. Felix Caron had 2 goals (2 PPGs) and a cross-checking penalty. https://bchl.ca/stats/game-center/11570

On the same power play, the Warriors came back 40 seconds later and evened the score courtesy of Felix Caron. Rylee Hlusiak made a strong play at the top of the left face-off circle, faking a shot and sliding a pass to the left dot where Caron corralled and swept the puck past the blocker side of Wild netminder Owen Millward for his 7th goal of the season at the 11:49 mark to tie the game at 1-1.

That goal proved to be a big one as the Warriors came out on a power play into the 2nd period and got their first lead of the hockey game with Felix Caron burying his second goal of the night. Hlusiak made his way into the offensive zone on the right side as he sent a puck to the net that was deflected on goal by Luke Devlin before Caron followed up on the stopped shot from Devlin and slid the puck in for his 8th goal of the season just 49 seconds into the middle frame and giving the Warriors their first lead of the night at 3-2.

On Wednesday, The Hill School defeated the Taft School 3-2 in overtime. Ryan Sanborn had 24 saves on 26 SOGs in 59 minutes. https://www.neutralzone.net/prep-men.../?game_id=5436

Sanborn's line is now 18-x-x-x-2.64-.906.
I have been using stats from USHR because Neutral Zone does not have cumulative stats and some early games are missing. OTOH, USHR does not have publicly accessible box scores. The two sources did not agree here.

Do you realize that every single one of our recruits (at least on the men’s side, anyway) are playing today? Wonder if that has ever happened before?

I did realize it. It has not happened earlier this year, but probably before.

I changed the schedule to indicate that the 1st game Westminster and KUA are playing today is against each other.

On Friday, Kimball Union defeated the Westminster School 2-0. Jackson Kyrkostas had a goal and an unknown number of penalties. Ryan Shaw had no points and an unknown number of penalties. On Friday, The Hill School defeated Worcester Academy 6-0. Ryan Sanborn had 17 saves on 17 SOGs in 30 minutes .

Sanborn's line is now 19-x-x-x-2.57-.909.
