The years the men's recruits are listed as committed for are not necessarily accurate.
The dates on which some of the women are listed as committing on may be considerably after the actual dates.
I am assuming that Neutral Zone regards their Star ratings as public because they often tweet them with committals.

STRENGTHS according to Neutral Zone (NZ doesn't include them for women):
Aw=Awareness/IQ, Ch= Character/Leadership, GS=Goal Scoring Ability, Sk=Skating, Sp=Speed, SH=Stick Handling Skill,
St-Strength, To=Toughness, Vi=Vision/Passing

Ralph I cannot find the posts from back when Hunter Wallace committed. This thread is only going back to 9/24 for some reason?

Should we be concerned about the Western University (formerly Western Ontario) sweatshirt? Probably not unless we don't need him any more, and I don't think that is the case. He also still has "RPI commit" on his BCHL page and personal accounts.
I remember when Jerry Knightley and Bruce Tisdall played for them after graduating in 1965 and were one of the teams that demolished RPI in 1965-66.

Jen and I remember the Dec.29th 1990 game in the RPI invitational tournament against the then Western Ontario. That was a game in which they slashed Juneau across the hand and I believe badly injured or even broke his thumb. We were staying in the Holiday Inn in Troy as most of the visiting teams did and were at the bar (as usual) with many of the Western Ontario players who were eligible to drink as they were much older that the usual US college players. Jenny asked one of the assistant coaches why that slash had happened and he responded -"That's hockey, and you should really not complain since he is still able to walk". They were a rough tough brutish sort of team made up of a lot of former US college hockey players - but as is usually the case - off ice they were all dressed incredibly well with cashmere topcoats!

Felix Caron will play for the West Kelowna Warriors (BCHL) next year. https://twitter.com/BCHLWarriors/sta...85289385340932

Certainly an advancement from the 18U team in Quebec where he currently is.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

December 24th, 2021

WEST KELOWNA B.C. – The West Kelowna Junior ‘A’ Hockey Club are excited to announce the commitment of forward Felix Caron (‘04) for the 2022-23 season.

The Terrebonne, Quebec native currently has 13 goals and 19 assists in 25 games played with Coll?ge Esther-Blondin Ph?nix (QMAAA) this season. “We are very excited for Felix to join the Warriors family”, said Warriors General Manager & Head Coach Simon Ferguson. “Felix is a dynamic player who can score, makes plays and competes at both ends of the ice.”

The 5’11, 165 pound forward considers himself ready for the BC Hockey League. “ I’m looking forward to be part of the Warriors organization. It will be my first experience in BC,” stated Caron. “I’m a player who is playing on 200 feet and I’m really involved in the game. I don’t hesitate to sacrifice myself for the team and I’m able to put the puck in the net at the good moment.”

Caron also has a long history with Warriors Felix Trudeau and his family. “I played with Felix’s brother Alexis when I was young and I became friends with Felix. He (Felix Trudeau) is a player I look up to and I would like to follow his path.”

Current Warriors forward Felix Trudeau stated that Caron brings great energy, skill and a fantastic one timer on the powerplay.

Caron is committed to RPI (NCAA). The Warriors would like to welcome Felix and his family to the City of West Kelowna and the Warriors organization.

The Warriors are back in action next Wednesday when they host the Penticton Vees. It will be a part of Retro Night for the Warriors where they honour the Westside Grizzlies. Tickets are available online at WestKelownaWarriors.ca. Remember that there will be a Westside Grizzlies alumni game at 4pm prior to the Warriors/Vees game. Admission is free with the purchase of a Warriors/Vees game ticket.

Results of the of the USHL investigation of the Omaha Lancers (where Hunter McDonald plays) as a result of alleged incidents a month ago. https://www.ushl.com/news_article/show/1200170

I will refrain from comment besides for saying that they found that the situation was exaggerated.

More questions than answers for sure. Lancer's former coach Chad Cassidy had been on a promising career path --worked with Rolston at the USNDTP and then in Rochester (AHL) before heading up Northwoods Prep.

Most certainly a lot of questions weren't answered, and a lot was swept under the rug.
