Is it me or does it seem that there are a lot of players (Brackett, Itagaki, Muzzatti, e.g.) who are not playing but their teams are. Injury concerns or just being benched due to teams having better players? And then there are 5 other recruits who look like they will not play at all this year. Your comments please?

It does concern me too. A problem is that the NAHL has expanded their roster limit this season. Unless a player is truly a star, he won't play all of the time. It is of course possible that there are injuries. The only injury I am certain about is the one which kept McDonald out. It would not surprise me if any of these three are injured. Muzzatti played a game and scored a goal for the USNTDP 18U team. Anyone who plays there should be able to play regularly in the NAHL. I add that he is the youngest player on his team. Brackett started like a house on fire and dropped off to nothing. That could be due to an injury.

On Friday, the Omaha Lancers defeated the Lincoln Stars 3-2. Hunter McDonald had a roughing penalty. Zach Dubinsky had 2 goals (1 PPG), a high sticking penalty, a 10-minute misconduct, and a slashing penalty with a game misconduct. 3 SOGs. He was named the #1 Star. :-) https://www.ushl.com/view/#/game-summary/9494

McDonald's line is now 20-0-0-0-45.
Dubinsky's line is 16-6-9-15-37.

Soon after, the Lancers went on their first power play of the night where Zach Dubinsky (6:28) ripped the puck past Ryan Ouellette from the right circle. Zach Dubinsky (10:58) added another goal after shooting the puck in off the backhand through the legs of Ouellette for a 2-1 Lancers lead.
