I guess that we will see where Miller and McIsaac end up. Neither really surprises me.

Miller could end up back in the NAHL. McIsaac could also or back in the MJHL. The limit on overage players hurt.

I thought that overage goaltenders do not count towards the limit. Am I mistaken?

I think that you are correct. I was just referring to McIsaac, but I see that I was not clear. I suspect that he was the #3 goalie and teams can't afford to use three sports for goalies. They'll probably have a young goalie on their affiliates list for emergencies.


Edit: There are teams using 3 spots of goalies.

Edit: Yes indeed, overage goalies don't count https://www.ushl.com/news_article/show/1051608.

Ah I see, well at least McIsaac has now found a third home in the USHL. Hopefully, he'll stick in Youngstown. I hope Miller can find a team to play for in the NAHL because I looked at Austin's roster and they already have 3 goaltenders

It looks like it. Perhaps he refused to report. So he joins Miller as being lost.

Neither appears to be on a roster at the moment although I have not looked everywhere. It is possible that the USHL messed things up with McIsaac.

Brooks saw that unfollowed them on Twitter about a week ago so they had to get another RPI commit to get me back. :D
So expect Miller to be picked up by another team where we had a player last year and don't this year. Don't count the USHL because I follow all of the teams. And it won't be Northwood. :D

On Thursday, the Youngstown Phantoms lost to the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders 6-2. John Beaton had no points or penalties. https://www.ushl.com/view/#/game-summary/9196

Beaton's line is 1-0-0-0-0.
JB was listed as centering the first line on the line chart, but he did not start the game.
He played the point on at least one pp.
