Re: RPI Recruit Thread 2019-20 (Part II)

On Friday, the Austin Bruins lost to the Bismarck Bobcats 6-5 in overtime. The best-of-5 simulated playoff series is tied 1-1. Brett Miller saved
31 of 37 shots in 62:12. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LCgRW_fVvB8

Miller's line is 2-1-1-0-4.42-.899.

I could be a second off in when the game ended.

Re: RPI Recruit Thread 2019-20 (Part II)

Ralph, do you find it weird at all that McIsaac is still not in the directory? He committed last year and signed an NLI, and it looked like he would have come in this fall if Mahshie had not committed late. With him having to enroll this fall as well as being committed for a long time, I find it strange he has not shown up in the directory yet. Maybe that's just me?

A bit weird but having watched the directory for many a couple of decades, there can be delays. I am especially not worried in this case because I don't think that McIsaac is crucial to us. He still has RPI on the top of his Twitter account.

edit: Instagram too.

6'2" 183 pounds at age 17 - just about all I need to know! Hope he comes to Troy. Will not know if we are getting better until these boys are all on the ice but one thing is certain, we are getting a bit bigger.

IIRC Seth kick-started his recruiting by taking Polacek and Brutlag early (right out of HS at 18). If young Mr. Brown and Mr. Sinclair have that kind of talent (and much more size) I wouldn't object to taking one this year and one next. They might need some developmental time, but we could put together a rugged front line when they are upper classmen.

I would not object to taking Brown immediately if there was a chance that he was not going to come at all. Besides for who is following and whom he follows on Twitter, there is no indication that we are interested in Sinclair. Certainly no indication that we have actually made him an offer.

Re: RPI Recruit Thread 2019-20 (Part II)

On Saturday, the Maryland Black Bears lost to the New Jersey Titans 5-2. The best-of-5 simulated playoff series is tied 1-1. Reid Leibold had no points. https://t.co/CEFr1WDhSP?amp=1

Leibold's line is 2-0-0-0-X.
I am not going through the games looking for penalties.

The dates on which some of the women are listed as committing on may be considerably after the actual dates.
I am assuming that Neutral Zone regards their Star ratings as public because they often tweet them with committals.

I guess since they mentioned it, I should add that this is meaningless. It's a list of players not yet in college and includes a lot of D-III recruits and players who will end up on ACHA teams. Probably none of ours since I doubt that 20 or 21 year old freshmen are on that team.

126 Sertti
146 Gagnon
210 Miller
218 McIsaac

On Sunday, the Amarillo Bulls defeated the Topeka Pilots 7-4. They lead the best-of-5 simulated playoff series 2-1. Lauri Sertti had 2 assists (1 PPA). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c6JYbq3r4E0

Sertti's line is now 3-0-2-2-X.

FWIW, his even-strength assist.
