Watson’s nicest save came in the final minute in the period. After a pad save from in tight, the Silverbacks chipped away at the rebound. The puck deflected up in the air and Watson reached up over his head to make the catch just in front of the crossbar. The game remained scoreless after 40 minutes.

This was from September. His scoring has been slowing down. I am surprised that they posted this.

Edit: The letter grade is relative to the competition. I. E., it would be more impressive if he was in the USHL.

Is if we don't have enough goalies for the next few years, John Beaton is in goal in the first picture. :D He's also near the right in the fourth picture.

Interesting Transaction yesterday by Coquitlam as they acquired G Joe Howe (Cornell)..........ah, never mind...... Coquitlam’s star goalie, Clay Stevenson, turns 21 on March 3. Players get around that rule by enrolling and taking courses at a junior college with the "intention" of earning a degree there but not playing hockey there. Their clock starts on their 5 years to play 4 years of hockey. They lose their redshirt year but still have four years of hockey left. Players do that all the time.

It's a loophole.

Still, unless a move is coming they’ll now have 3 goalies, all with D1 commits (all in ECAC also).

I missed that point. I should have read the link. Probably the Ivy league doesn't allow that loophole. All the better for Watson in the playoffs although who can tell what will happen the rest of the season.
