As expected, the AJHL is only posting scores for preseason games. (See link in the previous post.) Spruce Grove did not tweet its lineup, although Grande Prairie did tweet theirs. Also no assists or penalties were tweeted by the SGS.

Maybe a kid can identify as an acceptable size? :p:D

These kids go to college because there's the built-in time to bulk up, something which you don't get in the aggressive juniors schedule. Look at a kid like Rabbani, who was only 5'10, but the muscle and bulk stoked fear in the opposition (IIRC one Sioux player can attest). Sure, height makes the bulk easier, but when you have that low center of gravity, you really become an immovable force. When strength is fairly close then leverage becomes much more important, and if Coach Smith is going for those sorts of bruisers, I'm perfectly fine with it.

They can bulk up, but college doesn't make them taller.

I am assuming that Neutral Zone records their Star ratings as public because they tweet them with committals.

I might as well post this highlight video for yesterday's Spruce Grove game https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WeYr9TeML6k. Babichuk isn't mentioned; there are no name plates on their uniforms; and I don't know CB's number; so I am better off not guessing which, if any, is CB. :D

It's good to see that he was one of the first to be profiled and was given a low number. That indicates to me that they expect him to be a key player.

The Spruce Grove Saints defeated the Grande Prairie Storm 7-1 on Thursday. Neither team even tweeted the goal scorers. :(

There is no indication that Christian Sarlo is with the NJ Titans in this or earlier tweets today. He probably isn't.

USHL Protected List is starting to come out and Sarlo is on Chicago’s along with Gunnarwolfe.
