On Sunday, the Chicago Steel lost to the Muskegon Lumberjacks 3-2. The best-of-five conference final playoff series is tied 1-1. Christian Sarlo had no points or penalties. James McIsaac did not dress. https://www.ushl.com/view/#/game-summary/8691

On Sunday, The Brooks Bandits defeated the Prince George Spruce Kings 4-0. They lead in the best-of-seven Doyle Cup 2-1. Ryan Mahshie had an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty. The BCHL box score shows him having a PPA. The AJHL does not. I will go with his own league. The goal is at the beginning of this video. The AJHL was correct and Bast had the assist, not Mahshie.

I'm watching this game, yesterday's too, and thinking what is Sarlo showing on film to not be playing top 9 and 2nd unit PP? Kid is big, excellent skater, nifty, motor in all 3 zones, shows IQ but is on the 4th line and no PP time........... I'd also add that IMO Sarlo would fit real well with the 2 skilled kids. Sarlo has a high IQ to go along with speed/skating/skill/size but Moore likes him on L4 skating 9 minutes a game.

I assume that he will have a bigger role next year in Chicago. Hopefully we can keep him. It probably depends on his seeing us improving.
